Skater Development with Cal Miska
St. Francis Youth Hockey Association is excited to continue our development partnership with Cal Miska of Miska Hockey. This program will provide focused training opportunities for players, helping athletes sharpen their skills and take their game to the next level.
Program Focus
- 8 sessions, 50 minutes each
- Power Skating
- Elite Edge Control
- Stickhandling
- Puck Protection
With 40 sessions across all groups, players will benefit from Cal’s proven drills, expert coaching, and adaptable training plans designed to elevate their game.
All NORTHERN EDGE / SAINTS sessions will be held at East Bethel Ice Arena and will run on Sunday afternoons/evenings from October 4 - January 24.

FAQs
Q: How will Mites be handled without team placements yet?
A: We’ll be using last year’s teams and simply advancing them up one level for the purposes of the Cal trainings (ex: last year's B and C Mites will be invited) and families will be contacted by our Mite Director to confirm. Once Mite teams are officially formed, if any adjustments are needed to the invited rostered players for the trainings, we’ll manage that accordingly.

Goalie Development with MEGA Goaltending
The St. Francis Youth Hockey Association is thrilled to continue partnering with MEGA GOALTENDING, a premier goalie training program focused on position-specific development that builds skill, confidence, and consistency. Through this partnership, specialized training opportunities are available for all Northern Edge and Northern Tier Stars goalies, from A Mites/8U through Bantams/15U.
These sessions are designed exclusively for goaltenders and will be held on select Sundays throughout the season at East Bethel Ice Arena. A total of 10 clinics will give goalies the chance to refine their craft in a supportive yet challenging training environment.

- Designed for goalies at all youth levels
- Training built around the most current goaltending methods
- Purposeful drills with the repetitions needed to build confidence and consistency
